George Vasey talks with Foundation Press (Adam Phillips and Deborah Bower) about being ambitious in a small way, introducing vicars to architects, the importance of play and equitable collaboration. The conversation took place at BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, February 2023.
George Vasey is a curator and writer. He is Senior Lecturer in Curating at Teesside University, and his writing is regularly published in magazines and books. He has 15 years’ experience working with museums, galleries, universities and grass roots organisations on exhibitions and learning programmes. He is a Trustee at New Contemporaries and regularly coaches and mentors artists, writers and curators.
